It's May already! How did that happen? Not to worry - new year, new viral craze(!) Dubai pistachio and kataifi bars - you either love them or you hate them. But be careful not to 'eat with your eyes' because the filling looks very different .. I always said I wouldn't make them, but after many many requests I had to give them a go - and they're really nice! Try one - you may be pleasantly surprised.

I've been itching to make a decent peppermint cream for ages, but struggled to find a mould I liked - that was until I found a lovely leaf mould. It's not too deep, but deep enough for a decent layer of filling, and it's so elegant! Packs of 4 are £3.00 (80g) and ideal for any dinner party or Christmas table.
